Mr. Federinko graduated from Duquesne University with a bachelor’s degree in education. He is well-versed in British, American and World Literature, has been trained in creative fiction writing, and very much enjoys teaching English at CCCHS. Alongside his formal teaching career, he tutors at Sylvan Learning Center, teaches a high school marching band, and volunteers for the Boy Scouts of America. This is Mr. Federinko's first year at CCCHS.
   

Tom Maloney

Mr. Maloney received his Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Education from the University of Pittsburgh Johnstown. Mr. Maloney is in his second year of teaching at CCCHS. Prior to teaching at Career Connections, Mr. Maloney was a substitute teacher. Mr. Maloney is the assistant coach on the men’s championship basketball team.. He currently teaches tenth grade English and puts an emphasis on reading and writing.
   

Heather Harapko

Mrs. Harapko received her Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Education specializing in English/Communications from Penn State University in 2001. She furthered her education and received her Masters Degree in Teaching and Curriculum from Penn State University in 2008. Mrs. Harapko is in her eighth year of teaching English III at CCCHS. Besides her teaching responsibilities, Mrs. Harapko also serves the school as the English department head, a member of the Instructional Leadership Team, and a mentor for the University of Pittsburgh's MAT program.
   

Carmen Pasquantonio

Mrs. Carmen Pasquantonio received her Bachelor of Arts in 2002 from Carlow College, majoring in Professional Writing and Management.  She worked for four years as a writer in the Office of the Dean of the School of Arts and Sciences at the University of Pittsburgh, where she utilized her degree in working on grants, proposals, and other forms of business correspondence. While working at the University of Pittsburgh, Mrs. Pasquantonio worked toward, and received in 2008, her teaching certification in secondary English (grades 7-12).  She uses her Hispanic, inner-city background to reach students and forge their appreciation for English and literature, and currently teaches 12th grade and is Editor of the school’s newsletter, The Connector.  She also teaches Spanish to Elementary students in an after school program.
   

Stephanie Mosco

Ms. Mosco received her Bachelors degree in Elementary Education from Duquesne University in December 2001, and is currently working on her Masters degree. Prior to teaching at CCCHS, Ms. Mosco worked for many school districts in the area in various subjects and grades, such as K-12 Reading and Special Education. Ms. Mosco is currently in her third year at CCCHS and currently teaches English Lab, using Read180, to students in grades 9-11.
