The healthcare industry is the largest employer in the region. Jobs in the healthcare field range from professional jobs requiring many years of education beyond high school to semi-skilled jobs available immediately after high school with minimal education requirements. Preparation for both is available at CCCHS. |
As a HOP student you will be a member of a mentoring group as a part of the school's Academic Mentoring Component. You will take a career class with a specially written curriculum adapted from not only what other students take but addressing medical technology, hospital protocol, medical ethics, aspects of anatomy and physiology, and career exploration in that job cluster.
