Ms. Sheffey received her Master’s Degree in Social Work and Bachelor’s Degree in Health Related Professions (Child Development/Child Care) from the University of Pittsburgh. Ms. Sheffey has been working in the field of social work for approximately 20+ years. Prior to her employment at Career Connections Charter School she was employed at Craig Academy as a psychiatric social worker who worked with elementary to high school students and their families that had special needs. She also has worked for various community agencies that provided in home- services (mentoring, counseling, family and individual therapy) to families. Ms. Sheffey is currently in her fourth year at Career Connections Charter High School as the School Social Worker/ SAP Coordinator/ Transition Coordinator and a member of the Pupil Services Department.
