Melanie Karpinski
 |
Mrs. Karpinski received her Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Slippery Rock University in 2000, and her Master of Education degree in Special Education from the University of Pittsburgh in 2008. Prior to teaching at CCCHS, Mrs. Karpinski worked as a substitute teacher in various school districts and as a caseworker/mental health professional at Allegheny Valley School. Mrs. Karpinski, a 10th grade Learning Support Teacher, is currently in her second year at CCCHS.

Paula Fredland
 |
Mrs. Fredland is a 1982 graduate of Slippery Rock State College, now known as Slippery Rock University. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Special Education and Elementary Education. Mrs. Fredland substitute taught for two years in various public and parochial schools in the Steel Valley, West Mifflin and Woodland Hills schools. Mrs. Fredland went on to teach mentally and physically challenged adults for 16 years at a Therapeutic Activities Center, and from there taught another four years at a Residential Treatment Facility. Mrs. Fredland is currently in her seventh year at CCCHS teaching grades 9 and 10 as a Learning Support Teacher, providing Itinerant and Resource Services. |
Kate Johnson

Mrs. Johnson received her Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Elementary Education from West Liberty State College in 2005 and her Masters of Special Education from the University of Pittsburgh in 2009. Prior to teaching at CCCHS, Mrs. Johnson worked as a substitute teacher in various districts in Beaver and Allegheny Counties. Mrs. Johnson also worked as a DSP at Verland and as a pre-school teacher in a daycare center. Currently, Mrs. Johnson is working as a 9th and 10th grade Learning Support Teacher at Career Connections Charter High School. |

Rebecca Udon
 |
Ms. Udon graduated from West Chester University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Special Education and received her Masters of Arts degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from PSU-Harrisburg. She taught one year of elementary school, four years of middle school, and two years of high school in New Jersey. Ms. Udon also was a learning support teacher for five years at Gettysburg Area Middle School. Since moving to Pittsburgh in 2008, Ms. Udon has been the 12th grade learning support teacher at CCCHS. |

Jason Cappa

Mr. Cappa graduated from Clarion University of Pennsylvania with a bachelor’s degree in education in 2000. He is in his 5th year of teaching at CCCHS. Besides his teaching responsibilities, Mr. Cappa also serves as NovaNet Coordinator which is a credit recovery and credit accrual program at CCCHS. Mr. Cappa also is a coach for the CCCHS science Olympiad team and also coaches varsity football at Riverview High School. |

Tracy Ebaugh

Ms. Ebaugh received her Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from Edinboro University in 1997. She is furthering her education, and will receive her Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Penn State University in the spring of 2011. Ms. Ebaugh is in her fifth year as a learning support teaching assistant at CCCHS. In addition to being a teaching assistant, she is also a coordinator of the ECHO Program and serves on the Professional Development Committee. |
